Source for Welding Tips
Written by Admin on January 4, 2009 – 11:36 pm -Most of us tend to think of welding as an industrial occupation and visualize automobiles rolling down an assembly line. But the art world is home to some skilled and creative welders who put welding tools to a different use, one that would surprise us with the beauty that evolves from fire and metal.
Canadian artist blacksmith David Robertson is one such talented individual who over several decades has developed a wealth of knowledge about welding. And he generously shares those welding tips on his website, so if you’re in the mood to learn then head on over there. There’s a lot good information so add this site to your list of welding resources.
When you’re done, go check out his Gallery for examples of his artwork. It’s a treat!

Welding is a practical way for anyone to join pieces of metal together. It is easily learned and can be done with minimal equipment at home. Whether it is in the art field or repair of automobiles or in industrial applications more people should consider this as an option.
There is lots of information on metalworkingsupplies.org to help you choose the right welder for your job.

My dad is a lifelong welder. He has done work in hospitals, helped build apartments, built roller coasters at six flags, and no telling what else he has welded on. I’ll pass your site along to him…. although he’s not much of a computer person….. he’ll probably just say “I already know everything” LOL…. that’s just the way he is

@ David,
Thanks for your comment. Maybe your dad would like to be a guest author on my blog! I’d love to have an experienced welder contribute to this effort.
